Introducing Pam Hayle
The Vital Aging Network Leadership Group elected Pamela Hayle its new chair in December. Pam’s term started January 1, 2013. She has served on the Vital Aging Network Leadership Group since 2008.
Pam is the quality improvement director at Augustana Health Care Center of Minneapolis. With more than 34 years of experience in long-term care, Pam is a sought-after speaker, educator, and expert for regional and statewide efforts. She has managed major grant implementation projects and was project manager for a multi-million dollar renovation project at Augustana. Pam is co-founder of the national Quality of Life Alliance and serves as the national state contact for Minnesota to the National Activity Professionals Association.
Pam is certified through the National Institute of Health as a Certified Senior Fitness Specialist and Personal Trainer (SFPT) whose focus is health and wellness for older adults. She is also a Certified Activity Consultant (ACC). Her awards include MHHA Distinguished Service Leadership Award recipient and Minnesota State Activity Professional of the Year. She is past president of the Metropolitan Activity Professionals Association (MAPA) and a board member for the Civic Organizing Foundation.
