Forum Information

Most of us want to remain in our homes as we age. When we require help with daily living, staying in our homes can pose new challenges. As our population ages, those challenges will include keeping private and public costs affordable while providing what people need and want.

Medicaid systems will find it difficult to finance long-term care for everyone. Communities, providers, and governmental agencies are working to identify new care models and changes to policy and to individuals’ behaviors that will allow the country to manage this critical issue.

We will have a lively discussion about Minnesota’s long-term-care financing. Learn about the changes that panelists believe will make a difference. Explore actions you can take to prepare for future needs. Weigh in with your questions, ideas, and opinions.
