Beginning this month, we will feature a monthly series of columns about health and wellness by Mia Bremer, a long-time friend of VAN. Mia has been a fitness professional for 43 years, specializing in older adult fitness for the past 25 years. She holds a B.S. in scientific and technical communications and certifications from the American Council in Fitness, including Personal Fitness Trainer, Medical Exercise Specialist and Health Coach.
