DESCRIPTION:Are you concerned about the turmoil in our economic\, political and social environments?Do you want to do your part to make a difference?Do you want to stay motivated and continue moving forward? \n\n\n\nThe Vital Aging Network’s Vital Voices bring people together to share their views\, listen to others and support each other in taking action to make a better world. \n\n\n\nIn the broadest sense\, Vital Voices is about helping us know the kind of world we want to live in and to take action to make it true.  \n\n\n\nVAN will facilitate the sessions to ensure meaningful and respectful discussions. We’ll get us started with topics such as what do we mean by “civic\,” what’s the role of free speech in a free society\, what should government do or not do\, and how to discuss important topics with someone who disagrees with you.Each session will conclude with examining: “What can I do?” and “What support do I need to make a difference?”In May\, we will meet on Thursday\, May 28\, rather than our usual Monday to avoid Memorial Day.
